I affection bringing my stuffs(water bottle, some files, maps, etc) in my backpack everywhere I go but heard that the refuge are pretty strict in most museums in DC and extensive check will be required.Any face to share?
This shouldn't be a imbroglio at all. Most museums have a guard who pokes a stick into your bag and looks around. Some might have an x-ray. Either way, it's not a puzzler and you might as well avoid having to buy water down on the mall. The website seems to recommend that you should avoid bringing food.

The U.S. Centers for Disability Control and Prevention maintains a master schedule suggesting which immunizations a child should acquire when. But according to Jane Seward, medical officer for the CDC’s Office of Infectious Virus, it’s up to each state to decide which shots to require.
Because states, through Medicaid, have to cover the payment of immunizations for kids who lack insurance, Seward says, choosing which shots to instruct means weighing the value of various vaccinations. States tend to focus on “diseases where you get outbreaks in schools,” Seward says.
Your nipper’s physician is your best resource for making sure all necessary immunizations are in stick; the doctor can also discuss the pros and cons of optional shots. You can keep track yourself, though, by using the CDC’s tools .
