I don't recognize why i still do it. maybe it's a nervous habit, i have those too. i bite my nails, ponder on my pencils, pens, the inside of my cheeks and bite the drop buds off of my tongue. so is this another nervous habits? or is it something else?

do you crave them? If so this is called Pica, it's a craving for inedible objects. But I consider on things just out of nervous habit.

'Fresh-casual' Vapiano opens uptown

Opened this week uptown, the latest spot of an international chain in the "fresh-casual" category, at 201 S. Tryon St. It's a blend of old- and new-seminary approaches: Pasta is made daily on site, for example, and customers go through a sort of buffet interline, but they use a "chip card" to order - and servers are dubbed your personal "Vapianisti." You specify specimen of pasta and sauce, or the ingredients on your hand-tossed pizza or salad, and dine in an centre that boasts little potted herb plants and live olive trees scattered about. Pastas run about $7-$10, panini about $8 and pizzas about $7-$8. German basic Lars Kruse, the local franchisee, first found Vapiano when living in Dusseldorf; now a Wake Forest-cultivated banker, he says Charlotte is "the perfect spot for a Vapiano. It is fast-growing, contemporary and nice - just like Vapiano," according to media materials. Michael Mascali, with exposure at Cheesecake Factory and Frankie's Italian Grille, is also a part of the operation, which has about 70 locations now, and another 100 planned.

Peanut butter and chocolate. Cheese and tomato. Coffee and ice. Pencils and erasers. We have thrive to take for granted certain dynamic duos because they have become commonplace.

But we don't often find great food and quality media under the same roof. And yet it seems like a no-brainer to put up for sale both things simultaneously.

SCOOP at the Video Library bucks that trend, though. It offers regional favorite Bassett’s ice cream and a wonderful selection of movies and DVDs. And Betty Ann Fellner, who owns the Video Library quality with her husband, David, moved to Mt. Airy in 1976 and owns a chunk of real housing on Germantown Avenue.

The store opened in the 1970s and was the first video store in Northwest Philadelphia. When the Chestnut Hill outpost of the TLA video hoard closed recently, the Video Library became the last stand alone video store in the area.

The Fellners chose to gain Bassett’s ice cream because Bassett's is a locally owned family business that has been around for over 100 years.
