Is there any way to fix dried-up pencil erasers?

Identify how sometimes you have perfectly good pencils, but the eraser is dried-up, heartless, and completely unable to be used?
Is there any way to remedy this? Is there something you can soak the erasers in to attack them, well, be able to erase?
I hate to throw away competent pencils just because the eraser is not good.
***I know you can put those petite eraser caps on top, so I don't want that answer, or the answer of "honourable buy a new certain kind of pencil." ***

You can cut off the very tip of the dried up eraser and see if there is usable eraser underneath. I be acquainted with that I have done that before and it was usable. Also, try rubbing the eraser on a piece of paper at least twenty times to rub off the dried up parts.

Dried out pencil erasers do not delete well. I would like to use these pencils rather than throwing them away. I have many never used pencils that I would like to give to students to use if I can fix the eraser problem.

cut/rub away the upper hand on tenterhooks of the rubbers - they are only dried on the outside. once you get rid of the crusty layer they should be magnificent.

How can I get my pencil erasers to work?

If you ever get those pencils with erasers that perfectly don't erase, but rather just smudge the writing, how do you get them to erase like they're meant to?

Just rub the smudge over a tough surface, and when the eraser is white, after the layer gets peeled off, use it to expunge the pencil marks.

Here’s a shopping list of supplies students will need at area schools, found on the Rowan-Salisbury School System website:

Straightforward schools

Teachers may request students bring the following supplies to Rowan-Salisbury clear schools. Assistance will be available for students who need help getting these items. For questions about the lists, touch your child’s school.

Kindergarten — book bag; optional items: cement sticks, three-ring binder, Ziploc bags, Wet Wipes-unscented, change of clothing, scissors, facial tissues.

Score 1 — book bag, block eraser, glue sticks, pencils, Ziploc bags, pencil leap at or box, old sock; optional items: 70-page composition notebook, dry erase markers, facial conglomeration.

Grade 2 — book bag, crayons, wide-ruled notebook newsletter, pencils, pencil pouch or box, glue, erasers; optional items: scissors, Ziploc bags, pit folders, composition notebooks, clipboard, facial tissue.

Grade 3 — enrol bag, wide- ruled, loose-leaf paper; pencils, facial tissue.
