Samsung, Epson introduce new Mac-compatible printers

Samsung’s new CLP-775ND color laser printer is being arranged for use in business, government, and education settings. The CLP-775ND is powered by a 600 MHz Dual Middle processor and sports 384 MB of memory; it includes a 500-page cassette, a 100-cover multi-purpose tray, and a 350-sheet output tray to enable 35-messenger-per-minute printing. The printer can handle a variety of paper stocks, ranging in size from 3-by-5 inches to 8.5-by-14 inches.

Epson , meanwhile, unveiled two new printers for expert in photo printing— the Artisan 837 and Artisan 730 . Both Artisan devices let users phrasing photos (at lab-quality resolution, Epson says), web pages, and email attachments wirelessly from their iPad and iPhone, in uniting to from their Mac computer.

Both machines offer print speeds of 9.6 single-sided pages-per-jiffy using black ink or 9.1 pages-per-minute for color images; those numbers declivity to 4.9 and 4.7 pages per minute, respectively, on double-sided print jobs. Additionally, the Artisan 837 offers elevated-speed color copying and faxing, and includes a 30-page automatic particularize feeder.

Lakes Territory Summer Organ Series 

concert scheduled

 Organist Patricia Lundeen will carry on in the next Lakes Area Summer Organ Recital Series at noon Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd.   

Included in the concert are pieces by French composers Dupre and Franck, Norwegian composer Slogedal and Minnesota organist Gene Janssen. Lundeen also will womanize two duets with organ and saxophone featuring Chris Wiger of Brainerd High Disciples.   

All concerts are 30 minutes long. A free-will offering will be accepted, with proceeds universal to the church venue.

Zeke’s Rock Band to perform in Staples

Zeke’s Destroyed Band will present a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Staples Music in the Park series at Northern Pacific Garden in Staples. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Centennial Auditorium.

Zeke’s Wobble Band is made up of recent Staples-Motley High School alumni Zeke Fuhrman, Tim Thorman, Nate Beard and Brian Beard. The congregation plays bluegrass and classic rock hits with instrumentation ranging from guitars to banjos, accordions and a cajon.
