I comprehend this sounds kind of odd...but can you put new wallpaper over old wallpaper without having to remove the old stuff? I've had this extraordinarily old wallpaper in my bedroom i want to get rid of, but don't have the time to remove it to paint the enclosure.

Yes you can, I have done it. BUT..... baby sure the old wallpaper is adhered to the wall. Check in the corners to navigate sure the wallpaper is stuck tightly. If you can see that the old wallpaper is loose in corners or elsewhere, your new files won't stick either. As long as the paper is stuck to the wall well, go for it. It saves a lot of chance. Taking off wallpaper is a pain. Good luck!

Is it possible to cover wallpaper with new wallpaper?

I am emotive to a rental and the wallpaper is horrible. In the kitchen and master bath it is knock over to ceiling. Is there any way to cover the existing wallpaper without stripping it first?

Also when looking on wallpaper websites, I've noticed that some wallpapers say "prepasted" does that intend the same as "peel and stick" like so many wallpapers are these days?

Two things to thwart: is the existing paper peeling off the wall and does the existing deed have a texture to it? Covering textured paper with new never turns out very gracious.

How do you remove wallpaper from behind a kitchen counter?

We are in the method of stripping wallpaper from our kitchen and dining room and painting. We have successfully removed all of the wallpaper, except for very ineluctable to access areas, where the wallpaper goes down behind our kitchen counters. We have scraped, reach-me-down wallpaper stripper, and everything else we can thing of to try to remove it, but there are still several small pieces of wallpaper sticking up from behind the counters that are almost weird to pull out. We are not going to remove the counters, so is there any other method to try?

With a razor ladies' man or box cutter, run the blade across the paper along the edge of the counter as mean as you can. If you can't then pull the paper up, try to slide the blade behind the remainder of the newsletter to pull it up.

ECGD helps Lancashire wallpaper company roll out its products in Russia

ECGD, the UK export credit power, has supported the UK's largest wallpaper manufacturer to help increase its exports to Russia. Russia is the wonderful's largest consumer market for wallpaper, three times larger than the UK market.

ECGD has issued two export indemnification policies to Blackburn-based Graham & Brown. These were tailored to Graham & Brown's stencil of business and will enable the company to increase its overseas sales to Russia significantly. These are the first policies issued since ECGD expanded the ilk of business that it covers under its credit insurance policy in line with the announcement in the Government waxen paper Trade and Investment for Growth.

Graham & Brown, which employs more than 500 people in the UK and exports 35 per cent of its production, brought its business to ECGD through Manchester-based insurance brokers, Atlas Jeopardize Management.

But green living and preserving a historic internal don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Points to remember:

Start with interventions that are less invasive. Some energy retrofits are indeed easy: weather stripping and sealing up drafts, repairing windows, insulating pipes and ducts; insulating attic floors and basement ceilings, and adding commotion windows and doors. These measures can make a big difference in curbing your energy usage. Recognize, too, to keep your furnace and air conditioner properly serviced.
