Check with your local schools, they often have furniture they are replacing and don't charge much. Garage sales, also.

JEROME• Chancie Kirk moved furniture around her classroom at Legacy Academy and stood atop a chair to set up Idaho’s state flag.
Kirk fagged out Thursday moving into her classroom, which will soon be home to fifth- and sixth-grade students in the Jerome certify school, which opens this fall for the first year.
The school’s opening reflects continued charter principles growth in the Magic Valley.
Once a rarity, charter schools have slowly but steadily increased their cool in the region — and their enrollment. That expansion also is unfolding at Wings Charter Middle Faction in Twin Falls, which is adding another grade this fall.
Charter schools aren’t meant to be a duplicate of their traditional public school counterparts. At Heritage Academy, for example, students will participate in interest-based groups to line on projects. The school will also focus on individual students’ strengths, using them as a gateway to overpowered weaknesses.
“It’s developing an individual education plan for each child fitting their needs, using their strengths to get the better their weaknesses,” said Kelly Bangerter, the school board’s chairman.

"This is a victory for parents," said Sensation Academy charter school network founder Eva Moskowitz in a statement. "We are excited to glide up our sleeves at Upper West Success Academy and show that charter schools can help all children wax, no matter what neighborhood the school is located or where the students are from."
Marc A. Landis, the attorney for the parents who sued to standstill the co-location, said he would review the decision with his clients and "consider all available options."
